Real Swift

Ok this is just me brain storming on what the hell i could do for my major project. As of now i only have a few small ideas, but getting the premise right and if my idea could actualy work with the very small budget and gear iv got is another thing. (if you want to post some feedback please do)

Music video - This is something i would love to do. But…
- The few bands i know dont have any recorded stuff and getting them to get a recording done would cost them and maybe myself extra cred. It would also depend on what sort of songs they have got, wether i can make a story out of it using video. (i dont just want to make a video clip of a band playing there music) the movie needs to have some decent ground work and a story to it.
- I could do my own stuff and make a story out of the music i have created. but i did this for my major project for CERT 4 and i want to try something different. (i guess if everything all falls in a heap i can just do this).

Mocumentory - Id love to do a spinaltap style of mocumentory.
- I think this would be an easy way of doing this major project and even though i would like to do this i think i will save if for another time. (but i havent compleatly closed the door on this idea).

Movie Trailer - This would be a good idea if i was to sway away from a music orientated major project.
- First idea for this was to do a action movie style of trailer (dont have any main type of action movie as yet but this could be fun to do)
- Second idea was a romantic comedy trailer about a hobo and a Supermodel ( or something like that).
- as you can see there could be endless opertunities for me if i did it this way.

These are pritty much my main ideas that i have at the moment, but im still thinking away on what the hell i should do…

Well my thoughts, I think that people growing up these days don’t have much of a choice whether they use a computer or to do their homework and or study. These days with search engines like google etc, it is quick and easy to find the information you require whereas in a text book or using books for resources it can be very time consuming. but, with computers it is very easy to get distracted. With websites like youtube and i tunes its easy to get sucked in. So i guess what ever way you decide to study it will take the same amount of time LOL. ie Trying to find the stuff your looking for in a book with no distractions will take the same amount of time if you quickly find what your looking for on the internet, but with youtube or whatever stoping you from reading it or typing it up straight away. . .

This Is the first Project for 3D.

This is just a heading and title that I did in CERT4. I really like this type of style, it looks gritty and gives a sense of darkness about it.

Didnt work out how i wanted… No one got it…

Its suposed to be about not talking on your Mobile Phone while driving…. Hmmmmm i rate it a Negative 10 out of 10… yah bad!!!

This was just a little Exercise about camera angles and trying to get the viewer to realy become appart of the conversation. The premise is a bit wacked but we only had a short time to make one up.

7 STEP OUTLINE

• The Setup
Early in the 1900’s a man and a boy are in an old tomb and are trying to work out what all the engravings and encryptions mean, Then a spaceship lands out the front and aliens walk into the tomb and unlock a special door and then take 4 special stones, they leave and give the man a special key that will be needed in 5000 years time.

• Inciting Incident
Corbin Dallas who is driving his taxi gets a fright when something falls through his taxi roof. When he finally gets control of his taxi and brings it to a stop, he turns and looks into the back seat and finds a lady still alive. Then a police car hovers down to their position and demands that Corbin gives up the lady. Corbin gives in at first but after some thinking he decides to make a run for it. This sparks a big police chase, Corbin manages to get away and back to his apartment.  

• Act 1 Turning point
After a day or two in hiding with this mysterious lady, Corbin takes the lady to this man that knows about history and encryptions, this man assesses the lady and finds out she is a unique human with different DNA. She is the Fifth Element. And this man had a special key that had been handed down generation after generations and all the writing on the wall in the tomb his predecessors had uncovered and translated had led to this day. Mean while a businessman named Zorg is trying to capture the 4 stones that have gone missing so an alien can destroy the earth. The 4 stones and the lady can keep the earth safe.

• Mid Point
Corbin Dallas and the lady, after been told the whereabouts of the 4 stones and travel to the spaceship that’s orbiting around a far away planet.

• Act 2 Turning Point
While Corbin and the lady are on the spaceship they encounter a squad of aliens that Zorg has sent to try capture the stones as well. As Corbin and the lady fight the aliens, they find the stones and try to make there way back to earth.

• Act 3 Turning Point
As they are trying to get off the spaceship the lady gets shot several times and becomes week and powerless, Corbin fens of the aliens and gets into an escape pod. They make there way back to earth without getting followed as they had left a bomb in a suitcase that the business man Zorg thought the stones would be in. The aliens and Zorg go back to their spaceship without checking what was in the suitcase, once they get into the spaceship the bomb explodes.

• Resolution
Corbin and the old man quickly take the lady to the tomb where the stones where kept, they manage to set the stones up in there proper positions and place the lady in the center of the room just in time before the alien destroys the earth…
